Tools that remove busywork.
ToolForge is a small independent online collection of free productivity tools designed to help people with everyday writing, career, marketing, and developer tasks. The tools do not require registration or a paid API account.
What you can do here
All ten utilities work directly on our website. Scan a resume against an actual job description to identify missing terms, extract printed text from an image, brainstorm business names, shorten long text, or explore repeated keywords. You can also draft short SEO descriptions, generate starter hashtags and email subjects, validate JSON, and create random passwords.
How the tools work
Most writing and analysis tools use rules, templates, and text processing performed in your browser, not a cloud generative AI service. We use the term AI-inspired for their workflow and clearly identify their limitations. OCR uses an open-source recognition library rather than a paid online API. A strong password uses your browser's cryptographic randomness, not a language model.
Three practical examples
Resume improvement
If a job advert mentions SQL, client reporting, and dashboards, paste it alongside your resume. The scanner identifies overlapping terminology and possible gaps. Add a term only when you genuinely have the relevant skill or experience; the resulting score is not a hiring prediction.
Saving retyping time
Upload a well-lit screenshot of a printed receipt, poster, or notes page to the OCR tool. Copy the recognition output and check every important character, particularly phone numbers, amounts, and names. Blurry handwriting is harder to recognize than clear typeset text.
SEO draft editing
Enter the topic and audience for a page to draft short descriptions. Edit the suggestions into a faithful summary of the page; simply including search keywords cannot guarantee higher search rankings.
Why free?
The website is free to access and currently contains advertising integration code for a Google AdSense review. If ads become active after approval, advertising can help cover hosting and development costs without charging users for a subscription. We do not promise ad availability or earnings, and we do not require anyone to click ads.
Editorial principles
We aim to avoid exaggerated claims about how these utilities work. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or repetitive, and should be reviewed before use in important decisions. Generated business names should be checked for trademarks and domain availability before adoption.
