ToolForge provides browser-based productivity utilities. This page explains what happens to information you enter and which third-party services may receive data when you visit the website.

1. Information entered into tools

Our text-based tools—including the resume keyword scanner, summarizer, keyword extractor, name generator, and JSON formatter—run in your browser. We do not provide a website account or a server endpoint to upload this tool input, and our site does not intentionally store the input in a database. The password generator uses your browser's cryptographic randomness. Results are not professional advice.

The image-to-text tool runs OCR in your browser using the open-source Tesseract.js library. Your selected image is processed locally; the browser may download OCR code and language data from external content distribution services. Please avoid entering sensitive documents into websites unless you are comfortable with their security model.

2. Hosting and technical information

Our site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Requests for site resources pass through Cloudflare infrastructure, which may process technical information such as IP address, browser headers, timing, and security events under its own policies. ToolForge does not have a user-login system or independently operated analytics dashboard at the time of this notice.

3. Google advertising and cookies

This website includes Google AdSense code for publisher verification. When Google advertising is active, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalize, and measure advertisements. Google's use of advertising cookies can enable it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google or advertising partners may process browser identifiers, device information, IP addresses, and visit activity, subject to their policies and applicable law.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. To learn more about advertising privacy, read How Google uses information for ads. Some third-party ad providers may offer options via AboutAds. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily block all advertisements or cookies.

4. Consent and regional controls

Where required, consent notices and choices must be provided before eligible advertising purposes operate. When serving personalized ads to people in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent management platform integrated with the Transparency and Consent Framework. We have published a European regulations consent message using Google's Privacy & Messaging platform. It offers visitors choices to consent, refuse consent, or manage purposes where the message is shown. The service may take time to activate or display the message, and requirements can differ across jurisdictions.

5. Third-party resources and links

The OCR module fetches open-source assets from external content delivery services. This website also links to external documentation and policy pages. External providers maintain their own data handling policies and may change practices independently of ToolForge.

6. Retention, control, and security

Text typed into a tool is retained in browser memory only while the page is open, except when you explicitly copy or download output. ToolForge has no server-side profile to delete. You can close the page, clear browser data, or manage ad preferences through your browser and Google settings. No website or internet connection can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children and updates

The tools are general-purpose and not specifically directed toward children. We may update this privacy notice as the website, hosting providers, or advertising setup change. The updated date at the top identifies its most recent revision.

Quick summary

Text tools run locally; Google advertising tags and hosting providers may process technical usage data; OCR software is loaded from external resources. Check this page again as the advertising setup evolves.
